The world news headlines tell a sad story about the way in which this great nation is viewed among Islamic nations. (If memory serves, there are 57 Islamic states as the current President reminded us in his statement in the last election cycle when he claimed to have visited each of our 57 United States.) Of course, the Obama administration claims that the unrest among Islamic states has nothing to do with him or his faux-ryn policies. I guess they’re burning him in effigy just for fun. Meanwhile, I see an ugly shadow on the election horizon.

Now, everybody who knows me understands that I’m a hawk on the subject of voter fraud. I have complained bitterly to local and state voting officials here in Mississippi over the overt casting of multiple votes and the counting of the dead-vote. When that didn’t help to clean up Mississippi’s elections, I worked hard to get the Voter Identification initiative on the ballot and, finally, last year the voters of this state agreed that election integrity matters. (Of course, there was resistance every step of the way from democrats who have traditionally used the aforementioned fraudulent practices for their own benefits. And, quite naturally, we are still waiting for United States Attorney Eric Holder to give our state the official okey-doke in order to implement this new law. We’re not holding our collective breath on that one. Holder likes the status quo.)

But, voter fraud isn’t happening just in Southern states. On Monday several voter registration advocacies and the Democrat Party in the state of Michigan sued the current Secretary of State there, Ruth Johnson, for insisting that voters must affirm their citizenship before they are allowed to cast a ballot in the upcoming election. Johnson has determined that there are at least 4,000 non-citizens registered to vote in her state thanks to the automatic registration which occurs when people obtain a Michigan driver’s license. Motor Voter registration, is a common practice among states, but can play havoc with the integrity of elections since not only non-citizens but also convicted felons can be issued a license to drive but should never be allowed to participate in free and fair elections.

Johnson has attempted, on four separate occasions, asked for help from the Social Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security in order to obtain citizen lists to compare with Michigan voter rolls. Her requests have been turned down. This, in my opinion, is the Obama Administration working at padding the ballot boxes across the nation in order that he might enjoy a second term. Particularly in critical swing states like Michigan, Obama wants ever possible vote – even if it is cast by an Islamic extremist who is neither a citizen nor a patriot.

The intelligence community warns us regularly about Islamic extremists and sleeper cells which are scattered liberally across our country waiting for the word to bring the unrest we see today in Pakistan, Indonesia and Libya to the streets of downtown Detroit or Dallas. Having a weak and ineffective administration in place – as we’ve seen through the events of the past week – would make the overthrow of our government and our way of life just that much easier.

That the Democratic Party and this administration is refusing to do what is necessary to safeguard the integrity of our elections speaks volumes about their level of commitment to the American people. Shame, shame, shame on you all.
